Mohammad Heidari Kapourchali is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and an Affiliate Researcher for Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP). His research focuses on Energy Resilience on Islands and in Remote Rural Communities, Climate Risk and Energy Resilience, Microgrid Operation and Planning, and Renewable Energy Integration. Heidari Kapourchali received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Wichita State University in 2018.
