AgBMP Loan Program: Funding is available from the Agriculture Best Management Practices (AgBMP) Loan Program. Interest rate is 3% for projects that protect/improve water quality, such as Ag Waste Management, Conservation Tillage Equipment, Septic Systems and Well Improvements.

Well Sealing Cost-Share: Funding is available for cost-share assistance to seal unused wells in Mahnomen County. The cost-share rate is 85% of a well sealing cost estimate from a licensed well contractor. Wells must meet characteristics on the state well sealing priority checklist. Priority will be given to wells within Drinking Water Supply Management Areas (DWSMA). See the MDH video below.
