My goal is to produce research that makes the world a better place, by answering one small question at a time. To have a meaningful conversation with non-academic stakeholders and achieve an impact on policymaking, I frequently present my research results to general audiences, for example, in blog posts (e.g., at the Economics of Higher Education in the UK and the Portfolio Blog in Hungary), podcasts (the THESIS Higher Education podcast), radio interviews (Tilos Rádió – in Hungarian) and videos. My research has been featured in The Conversation, the Times Higher Education, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily on Sunday, and the BBC in the UK, and several national media outlets in Hungary (Portfolio, telex, G7). My work related to educational outcomes and education policy in Hungary has been cited regularly by the Education and Training Monitor of the European Commission.
The European Commission's Education and training monitor 2024 Hungary cites my work on first in family university graduates in Hungary.
